The 509th Medical Group (MDG) supports the 509th Bomb Wing and Whiteman AFB tenant units by providing trusted medical support, community health and wellness, and developing and sustaining mission-ready medics to support Combatant and Joint Force Commanders. Additionally, the 509 MDG provides health services for more than 12,000 beneficiaries. The Group is accredited by The Joint Commission.

TRICARE for Life is your Medicare-wraparound coverage for TRICARE-eligible beneficiaries who have Medicare Part A and B. TRICARE for Life beneficiaries can receive care at military hospitals and clinics, but only on a space-available basis.
