Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) Specializes as a heavy industrial complex which provides repair/rebuild of tracked vehicles. The facility also repairs and refurbishes small arms and stores conventional ammunition. Currently, the depot employs approximately 4,000 civilian employees. The Dear Clinic provides comprehensive Occupational Health services for depot employees which also includes evaluation and treatment of occupational injuries and illnesses. Industrial Hygiene (IH) is co-located in the clinic and the Dear Clinic is the sole source of IH support for OSHA mandated programs (sampling, monitoring, hazard abatement, etc.) to the depot.
