The Coatesville Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center is one of 150 VA medical centers nationwide. The medical center and its outpatient clinics in Spring City and Springfield, Pa. comprise an integrated health care system dedicated to providing Veterans with health care that improves their health and well-being. The health care system offers urgent care, primary care, specialty care, mental health care, long term care, pharmacy, and numerous supportive services to outpatients, inpatients, and residential patients. In the fiscal year 2017, the medical center served 19,533 Veteran patients and had 243,606 outpatient visits, and 2,642 inpatient and residential admissions. There are 345 operating beds and approximately 1,294 employees.
