About
Welcome to the Dallas campus is designated as a Federal Coordinating Center for emergency response and is one of five designated Centers of Innovation by the Office of Patient Centered Care and Cultural Transformation. It is also home to the Fisher House which provides a ‘home away from home’ for families of Veterans receiving care.
VA North Texas was the first VA in the Nation with an approved TAVR program – transcatheter aortic valve replacement. VA North Texas was the first VA medical facility and second hospital in the country to successfully deploy v-BLOC therapy, a scientifically advanced weight loss system. Other medical services include Dialysis, Telemetry, Interventional Cardiology and Intensive Care. Mental Health care includes Domiciliary and Electroconvulsive Therapy; Cardiothoracic, Bariatrics and Robotics are among the surgical services available as well as Hospice and Palliative Care, and advanced imaging.
