About

Naval Station Everett is located on the city’s waterfront on the northeastern end of Puget sound, designed as a homeport for a U.S Navy Carrier Strike group. The Naval Station is the U.S. Navy’s most modern shore installation, dedicated in 1994. Everett has one of only two Navy-owned deepwater ports on the West Coast of the continental United States. The base also supports a Coast Guard buoy-tender and a Coast Guard coastal patrol boat. 

NSE supports mission-critical functions at Jim Creek Radio Station in Arlington and Naval Facility Pacific Beach on Washington’s Pacific coast. The radio station maintains communication with submarines in the Pacific. NSE’s areas of responsibility within the Northwest Region encompass Acoustic Research Detachment in Bayview, Idaho and Naval Radio Transmitter Facility in LaMoure, North Dakota.
