Veterans Day Video For Kids

As Veterans Day draws closer, our nation’s children could use a lesson on its long and critical history — and what better way to do that than by watching a Veterans Day video for kids?

Celebrated every year on November 11th, Veterans Day is a time to thank and honor the brave veterans who risked their lives for their country. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, there are an estimated 21 million veterans in the United States, all of whom have made huge sacrifices and deserve to be treated with respect and dignity.

Veterans Day is a large part of that effort. And we’ve been celebrating it for an entire century; in fact, this November 11th will mark the one-hundredth Veterans Day celebrated in the United States (although it used to be called Armistice Day… which is sort of still a holiday, but that’s another history lesson).

The point is: Every American should know some basic knowledge about Veterans Day, or at least why we celebrate military service members and veterans. So here are 8 Veterans Day videos for kids, and anyone else who wants a quick refresher!
